Good idea, it was a little distracting at times. I can't believe you got him to do that, keep him as your actor.
I think you should have chosen a different location. The woods, or somewhere outside I think would have been more appropriate (since the song talks about the forest and what not) The lighting on his face was pretty harsh at times and took away from the magic! It was apparent that you didn't use a tripod which was also distracting and some of the shots were way too tight. Other than that, I thought this guy was an awesome choice to use as your actor. Your idea and concept behind this video was both hilarious and very entertaining. I will definitely watch this over and over again for a good laugh.
Yet again, you make your mark with hysterical subjects! Joel is hilarious and his facial expressions make the movie. Aside from that I agree that you need to get out of the dorms and do some location hunting. The camera work looks really handheld, which translates to 'direct-to-youtube'. Try stepping away from comedy and focus more on composition and camera work.
i think this video was really funny. the only thing i have to say is watch your lighting at times. but other than that it was good.

very funny. great choice of actor and song. I suggest using a tripod and finding a better location. lighting was not so great, account for it.
Nice idea, however the pauses in the beginning are slightly distracting, not sure if they were used for humor, or just a slip up.
i loved this... it was awesome, a little shacky at times but having him up high really worked, it fit the song well
